About

Hi there! Welcome to Wrapistry!

I enjoy wrapping gifts beautifully, tying the perfect bow, creating nostalgic wedding cards and reviving the lost art of a hand written note. I believe the smallest things are the most important: anything that’s handmade and wrapped with love can help transform someone’s day.

The most common question I hear is ‘Oh my! How did you start?’ or on a not-so-polite note, “Really, you wrap gifts for a living?’ With much glee and pride, I say yes! My obsession with colour, ribbons and paper started while I was in school. All I remember from school are the things I learned in Art Class. An intense MBA followed by a corporate job in London made me realise I never want to be stuck behind a desk. It is always passion, not necessarily academic ‘intelligence’, which makes us truly happy and successful at what we do.

Life and work have taught me that the little steps we take every day add up to sizeable results if you never stop moving forward. With almost no paid marketing, Wrapistry currently has a very engaged and active following of 99,000+ creative minds on Facebook whose platform has enabled us to reach design lovers across the world. Thanks to this unprecedented success, I was recently selected as a council member for Facebook’s first India SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) seminar. I shared my ideas and experience that could hopefully help other businesses leverage social media in an engaging and meaningful way.

The press has always been so kind and has played a very important role in helping to build the Wrapistry brand; Since I started, Wrapistry has been featured in The Hindu, VOGUE, GoodHomes, The Times of India, DNA and The Indian Express, just to name a few

I absolutely love what I do and so I decided to pass on this passion by travelling across our beautiful country, hosting my Gift Wrapping & Modern Calligraphy Workshops.

I hope you can join me for this unique experience the next time we’re in your city. Feel free to drop me a line at [email protected] to say hello, host a private workshop, for creative solutions for packaging or stationery.

I hope you enjoy my work here.
